FLOP (Colour Practice)

I think I'll focus on the colour here, since it seems that's what you were trying to go for.

The fading in the background is nice. Very well done. Seamless until just at the very bottom where it sort of drops off suddenly into a darker shade.

As for Flop, the colors blend very effectively into points of shadow and highlight. The three dimensional effect given to us by the general style is GREATLY enhanced by this. One word on it, however, is that you may want to take a look at the tail. It seems to be shaded a little bit oddly, with the shadow coming more towards the viewer where one may expect a little bit more light to fall on the object.

Other than that, the piece is very well done. The lineart is clean, effective, and uniform. The only oddity I see in the lineart is the odd darkening around the eyes. It seems slightly out of place, and one would expect it to be slightly lighter in shade.
